Thanks for the Likes

Today I was notified that I had set a personal record – most likes in a day. That’s great, or at least it should be, right?

Just one tiny problem – there were three times as many likes as veiws. What does that tell me? I had a visitor who went through reads and hit “like” without actually viewing the post. While I appreciate the encouragement, it only takes a minute to view a post. If the post peaks your interest, read on, if not, that’s okay too. At lease you gave it the once over skim.

I use my reads to visit those I follow. I always like whatever is posted – even if I don’t necessarily agree. The fact that someone put something of themselves out there is enough reason to like. I also visit the posting – and I’m amazed at what I learn along the way.

Thanks for the likes – visits are also nice.

  1. I don’t understand why I get a crazy amount of likes for a few certain things I wrote either. I hit your like button and it says I liked but doesn’t show my web photo so I don’t know if it counts or not. Blue Host is forcing me to upgrade because they said I no longer have webspace. Hopefully with the upgrade I can officially “like” again…… But the only reason I really commented was because this is the first time I didn’t notice a recipe from you.

      1. Yes I remember reading that you lived in LV. And YES I do agree some of the best foods here. I think California is the most beautiful state I ever visited. The trees are the most beautiful there. Lots of great food and GREAT wines there too! Happy Cooking Rosemarie! (P.S. I just upgraded yesterday….still can’t like and they removed my tweet button….)
