Don’t you just love it when little videos pop up on your social feed? It doesn’t take long before the marketing department knows just how to press your buttons. I generally get three types of reels – food related, baby related or animals just being too darn cute.
Recently a recipe for a complete breakfast (toast, bacon and eggs) made in your air fryer popped up. While the video did seem intriguing, you know me, I had to make my own little changed. Turned out better than I thought it would. So now I can present to you a Complete Morning Breakfast in 8 Minutes Flat. Perfect for this First Monday of Lent, don’t you think?
Bacon, Eggs and Toast for One
1 Bread Slice
1 Bacon Slice
1 large Egg
Salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste
Take a piece of foil, fold it to fit into your air-fryer basket. This makes clean up a snap. (If you really want to be lazy, use paper plates and plastic utensils, too).
Place a slice of bread on the foil. Press a dent into the center of the bread using a 1/2-cup Measuring Cup. Cut a slice of bacon in half, then cut the halves in half again. Lay the bacon pieces around the outer edge of the bread to frame the indentation. Crack an egg, gently drop egg into the dent. Season with salt and pepper.

Place basket into the air fryer. Select 350-degrees, 8 minutes. That’s it, just enough time for the bacon to fry, the whites to cook while the yolks remain runny. An instant breakfast for one with no clean up!

The LORD said to Moses,
“Speak to the whole assembly of the children of Israel and tell them:
Be holy, for I, the LORD, your God, am holy”
Now that is what I call fast food!

I bet you could do this with just an English Muffin and the egg
