Every year on the 24th day of July, I cannot help but to chuckle. Two National Days come together. Drive Thru Day and Tequila Day. Not exactly the most prudent of combination.

The Feast of Mary’s Presentation

Today in the Catholic Church we celebrate the Presentation of the Virgin Mary. This feast is a part of both Roman and Eastern rites as well as some Anglo-Catholics. The roots of this feast are not found in the Canonized Bible but rather recount the apocryphal Gospel of Saint James.
