Can We Talk?

A few years ago, my sister (a volunteer with the Meals on Wheels program) gave me a cookbook, “Made with Love – Meals on Wheels Family Cookbook”. It contains recipes from famous people in all walks of life, including celebrities and First Ladies.  Proceed from the sale of the book go to support Meals on Wheels and their fight to end Elderly hunger in America.

This morning, while sipping a cup of French Press Breakfast Blend, I sat down to “read” my cookbook. That’s when I cam across this recipe and knew I had to share the greatness of this woman.

Joan Rivers’ Toast

Makes 2

2 slices white bread
Butter or margarine, as needed

Take 2 slices of white bread.
Place them in a toaster.
Press down the handle.
Wait 3 minutes or until toast pops up.
Spread butter over slices after removing them from the toaster.
