Surprise, it’s me again. I know it’s not the norm for me to share three recipes in one day. However; I realized that my Lenten Offering for Holy Thursday has actually been shared twice. The first time I shared the Tilapia recipe was back in March, as part of diabetic awareness and alert day. As a diabetic, these health issues are important to me personally.
While we might have an occasion to eat the same meal twice, I strive to give you variety and not post the same main dish twice. Yet I had done just that, and a month apart no less. So I felt I owed you another delicious recipe for Tilapia.
Hope you enjoy!
Lemon Pepper Broiled Tilapia
2 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
2 Tablespoons White Wine
2 Teaspoons Lemon-Pepper Seasoning
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
1 lb Tilapia Fillets
1/4 cup minced fresh Parsley
In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir in white wine, lemon-pepper and minced garlic. Sauté 2-3 minutes or until garlic is tender but not browned.
Pat fish fillets dry with paper towels. Place on a broiler pan. Brush with butter mixture, turn and brush other side. Let fish sit for 15 minutes to absorb all the flavors.
Heat broiler element. Position oven rack 3-4 inches from heat source. Broil fish until flaky, about 10-12 minutes, turning midway through.
While the fish is cooking, mince fresh parsley and set aside. When ready to serve, sprinkle Tilapia with a little parsley for a splash of color.
