Today is my baby girl’s 49th birthday. This is her 2nd birthday celebration in Heaven with her Lola and Uncle Jimbo. Happy Birthday, Boo Bear. We miss you very much.
I find it interesting that National Popcorn Day coincides with my Dad’s birthday. Every year for as long as I can remember, I give Dad a tin of popcorn for Christmas. It’s our tradition.

Just as I find it interesting that National Hot Chocolate Day is today, my Boo Bear’s birthday. Whenever we make Hot Chocolate in our Mr. Coffee Cocomotion Pot, I get this warm feeling. It was a Christmas gift from Boo Bear when she was a teenager.

Since her passing, when I make cocoa in the Cocomotion Pot, I take a moment to touch the pot, wipe a tear from my eye and let my thoughts drift back to when she was with us. Somehow it seems fitting that National Hot Chocolate Day and her birthday are celebrated together.
Now I will admit, Nutella Hot Chocolate needs to be made in a pan on the stovetop. It involves melting the Nutella, and that cannot be accomplished any other way. Still, it’s fitting that Hot Chocolate floods my heart with warm memories of our little girl.
Nutella Hot Chocolate
4 cups Milk
1/2 cup Nutella
Whipped Cream
Mini Marshmallows
Cocoa Powder
In a medium sauce pan over medium-low heat, whisk together milk and Nutella until the Nutella is melted and milk is nice and warm.
Ladle hot chocolate into mugs. Top some whipped cream, mini marshmallows and a dusting of cocoa powder.
Snuggle up and enjoy!
Happy memories
