But a Moment

Yesterday morning as Hubby was leaving for work, we noticed buds ready to open in out cactus garden.

Within hours, they were open and beautiful. By tomorrow, the last traces of that quiet explosion of color will be gone. Just another reminder from above to cherish every precious second of life while we can. For this too will fade into the past, leaving behind but a memory.
