Just How Laze are We?

Just how lazy have we become? Or is it more a question of spoiled. I just don’t know.

On Saturday Hubby and I were at the grocery store for our usual weekly trip. In the meat section were packaged of hamburger already made into patties. (Nothing new there). Next to that was lettuce, tomato and onion already sliced, packaged and ready to go. Only $10.00 – what a deal!

Although there are seniors who no longer use knives for fear of cutting themselves. Maybe in those cases, instead of charging a fortune for a small convenient package, offer a service – they buy the head of lettuce, the onion, tomato, and near the check out is someone who can slice and wrap these. One heck of a lot cheaper. What would be even better is if we spent time with our seniors, and did this for them.
