We are Called to be Fishers of Men

Last night Hubby and I attended a fundraiser dinner at our parish for Net Ministries. There is an awakening in the Christian Community, no doubt.

More and more young people are seeking answers and turning to Christ. For the last 2 Ash Wednesdays, our parish priest has been invited to the public high school by the students themselves to distribute ashes after school. Over 300 students have stood in line to receive the ashes. Net Ministries is an organization that will send young people out into the world to evangelize among other young people. Many of those who do this go on to religious lives as nuns, priests, even a few bishops. This is such an exciting time to be alive.
