It has been eight days since the Feast of the Assumption of Mary. Today, although not a Holy Day of Obligation as the Assumption was, Catholics celebrate the Queenship of the Blessed Mother. Much of Catholic Adoration for Mary is difficult for non-Catholics to understand.

Hail Senior Citizens
Today is Senior Citizens Day. It is a day set aside to remember the achievements of the more mature among our nation’s citizens. Whenever I see an announcement in the church bulletin about services for seniors, I suggest to Hubby we volunteer to help out. He then reminds me we are the seniors.
