Backyard Smorgasbords Begin in the Kitchen

One evening recently, I asked Hubby about his upcoming Birthday Bash. I read aloud an assortment of Barbecue Dishes I had assembled as option one. Then I suggested a Taco Bar with Margaritas as option two.

Happy Birthday America

On this day 245 years ago, America declared independence from England. It was the birth of a new nation with great dreams and expectations. Growing up, the 4th of July gave us a huge sense of community pride.

Happy Birthday America

Everyone knows that today in Independence Day – America’s Birthday. I’d like to think there will be backyard barbecues and families celebrating together. I hope children will write their names in the air with sparklers and that night sky will be filled with bursts of color. Happy Birthday! Keeping the 4th of July Simple

It’s hard to believe June is over as we look ahead to America’s Independence Day celebrations. All across our land, friends and family will gather, be it in parks, stadiums or backyards. Anytime people gather, for whatever the reason, food is always a part of the festivities. And so it is that I turn my attention to a great American Holiday.
