Hail to Oregon and Dungeness Crab

Today is National Oregon Day. As many of you might already know, I adore Oregon – especially the coast. While both California and Oregon have designated their coastlines as “Public Property”, the wealthy in California tend to hog the best views for themselves, and the rest the state charges an admission fee.

Founded in 1859, Oregon is a quirky yet amazing place. It’s said that the only leprechaun colony west of Ireland is in Oregon. And the world’s largest living organism also calls Oregon home.

Beautiful Oregon

For the longest time, Oregon was our home away from home. My favorite place to visit. The “vibes” were amazing. With camera in hand, my soul found peace on long, cold walks on foggy mornings.
