Every year on the 24th day of July, I cannot help but to chuckle. Two National Days come together. Drive Thru Day and Tequila Day. Not exactly the most prudent of combination.

Maybe it’s just me, and my somewhat twisted sense of irony, but it strikes me as a little off that Drive Thru Day and Tequila Day are the same day. Really? I wouldn’t think driving and tequila should be in the same sentence, let alone the same day.

Wow – today is one very busy National Stuff Day. We’ve got Drive-Thru Day, Cousins Day, Amelia Earhart Day, Cowboy Day, Thermal Engineer Day and my personal favorite – Tequila Day. Now up until a couple of weeks ago, we could have easily combined Drive-Thru and Tequila Day. During the stay-at-home orders you could get food to go from your favorite Mexican Restaurant that included bar service. Yeah, crazy.
