The Events of Holy Thursday
Jesus and His disciples shared the Last Supper on Holy, or Maundy Thursday in an upper room. On this day, Jesus did more than just enjoy a meal with his followers. He washed the feet of His disciples and established the sacrament of Holy Communion.

Today is Holy Thursday. Most of us know this day as The Last Supper, for it was the day before Christ’s crucifixion. On this day, in the upper room, Jesus gathered with his disciples for the Passover. So often in our zeal to call ourselves Christians, we forget that Jesus was Jewish.

One of the traditions in our house is to have some sort of roasted meat on Holy Thursday. We aren’t lamb eaters; although I do love Lamb Gyros. Kiddo has to be in the mood for a Lamb Gyro, and Hubby says no way. He’s not really keen on strong flavors.
