Today is the feast day of Saint Bartholomew, Apostle, martyr and the patron saint of butchers. As one of the twelve, he was present at the Last Supper and a witness to Christ’s ascension into heaven. Many scholars today believe that Bartholomew and Nathanael from the Gospel of John are the same person.

Awesome Ro-Tel Chicken Enchiladas

All I can say is it’s a good thing today is Tuesday. It’s also Butterscotch Brownie Day. Great for me, not so much for Hubby who is not a fan of Butterscotch. I like to suck on Butterscotch Candies and drizzle butterscotch over ice cream. A Butterscotch Brownie deserved it’s own special day.
