This is now my forth year of looking back at recipes we’ve shared. Wow – four years is a long time, don’t you think? I’m so grateful for each and every person I have had the pleasure of “meeting” on this amazing journey through cyberspace. How I’d love to sit down and break bread with you in the real world. My faith tells me we will meet one day, if not in this world then at the banquet table in heaven.
I’ve heard tell that we are moving away from old-time traditions. Perhaps that’s true as we move into a more global existence. It’s interesting to note that, with the exception of February’s Valentine’s Day and baking cookies at Christmas time, none of the most viewed recipes were tied to a particular holiday or tradition. And in all honesty, those seasoned with deep Catholic roots were not always well received. I guess Love and Cookies wins out over faith no matter what. That’s okay too.
Happy New Year. Here’s a fun look back at 2021.

Wishing you all of God’s blessings, Rosemarie. Your menus are amazing and ambitious. I’ve also learned from you… I had never heard of “Ember Days,” for example. I’ve been behind in my reading and writing, but I always enjoy your posts and thank you for your creativity and diligence.
