My true love gave to me Eight Maids a Milking. Our one true love, Christ Jesus, gave to us the Sermon on the Mound and the Beatitudes. The Beatitudes exemplify spiritual strength even in the face of despair.

On the Seventh Day of Christmas

My true love gave to me Seven Swans-a-Swimming. Seven is the number of completeness and perfection. The number seven is found in the Bible 735 times, it is the foundation of God’s word.
